Getting started

How it works

You buy the instructions here and the bricks from BrickLink. Here's the whole process.

  1. 01

    Buy the instructions

You're buying a digital PDF, not a boxed kit. Pay by card and the download appears immediately — no waiting, no shipping.

  2. 02

Send the parts list to BrickLink

Every set includes a complete, exact parts list. One click copies it and opens BrickLink's upload page; paste it in and it becomes a Wanted List.

  3. 03

Let Auto-Select find the cheapest sellers

Hit Buy All, then Auto-Select. BrickLink searches thousands of independent sellers worldwide and works out the cheapest combination of stores to fill your list.

  4. 04

    Build it

Parts arrive, instructions are already on your machine. Build at your own pace, re-download the PDF whenever you need it.

Common questions

Am I buying actual LEGO bricks?
No. You're buying the building instructions as a PDF, plus the parts list needed to source the bricks yourself. This is how custom LEGO designs are sold — nobody can legally resell LEGO parts as a boxed kit.
Roughly what do the parts cost?
It varies with piece count, rarity and which sellers you buy from. BrickLink's Auto-Select shows you the total before you commit, so you can price a build before spending anything.
Do I need a BrickLink account?
Yes, and it's free. BrickLink is the largest marketplace for individual LEGO parts — the parts list works with it directly.
Can I re-download the instructions later?
Yes. Your download link stays valid for two years, and you can reopen it any time by confirming the email address you ordered with.
What if a part is unavailable?
BrickLink's Auto-Select will find alternatives across other sellers. If a specific part is genuinely discontinued in a color, get in touch and a substitute can usually be suggested.
Are refunds available?
Digital files can't be returned once downloaded. If something is wrong with a set — a missing step, a part that doesn't fit — get in touch and it'll be fixed or refunded.
